Node Operators acquisitions
Several Node Operator mergers and acquisitions have happened over the past months:
- CryptoManufaktur (CMF) has been acquired by Galaxy
- Numic has been acquired by Pier Two
- Bware Labs has been acquired by Alchemy
- Stakewithus has been acquired by Nansen
As per community discussion, a rough set of guiding principles has been proposed through which to assess whether these changes in Node Operator business constitute material enough changes for NO participation to be reconsidered for permissioned modules within the protocol. A vote to reaffirm the continued participation of Galaxy has already been made and passed, and currently the LNOSG is in the process of preparing suggestions to the Lido community about the remaining cases.
