Community Grants
To boost support for home stakers, the Community Lifeguards Initiative is considering retroactive & future funding for community-driven resources.
Scope of this round:
In terms of content or support, any of the following are welcomed: • CSM setup guides & tutorials; • CSM setup through 3rd party integrations (eth-docker, Dappnode, Stereum, Sedge, etc.); • Guides for setting up CSM with DVT using Obol or SSV; • In-depth CSM explainers; • Resources in various languages;
How to apply:
Comment in the post in the first thread with: • 2-3 lines describing your work; • 1-2 lines about yourself; • Contact info; • Ethereum Mainnet address; • Link to your resource;
Judging criteria:
Grant applications will be judged across the following: • Overall quality & clarity; • Usability (step-by-step instructions, visual aids); • Uniqueness and novel value (e.g. new methods or tools not covered in other guides);
Get involved and help make CSM accessible to all! The grants for this round will be processed until Sept 30, 2024.
Community Lifeguards Initiative
StakeCat as a group of solo-stakers has been onboarded as a new Lido Community Lifeguards covering the European region. They are keen to help the community around Lido ramp up its efforts in developing and growing the solo staking communities locally and across Europe.
Rated Labs Replacement in the Oracle Set
The DAO has voted to replace Rated Labs with MatrixedLink based on the signal from Rated Network to voluntary step down from the Oracle set. The rotation was executed via an on-chain DAO vote.
Node Operator Renaming
The DAO has voted to rename the Node Operator from "CryptoManufaktur" to "Galaxy", together with updating the reward address as part of the Galaxy acquisition of CMF, and “Numic” to “Pier Two”, as a part of the acquisition of Numic by Pier Two.

Simple DVT Module
Simple DVT Expansion
- Decentralized Validator Vault was launched: This vault aims to boost the adoption of Distributed Validators via the Lido Simple DVT Module, enhancing network security and increasing the number of validator utilizing DVT.
- Immunefi Boost campaign has started: Up to $100,000 in rewards for findings bugs on the recently launched Decentralized Validator Vault
Lido x Obol
Mainnet | Status: Active ▶️
- Cohort 1 keys limits are raised to 80 validators
- Cohort 2 is active, currently under the monitoring period
Testnet #4 | Status: Finished 🏁
- Testnet #4 is finished, will be followed by LNOSG evaluation and DAO proposal to onboard good performers to mainnet
Lido x SSV
Mainnet | Status: Active ▶️
- Cohort 1 keys limits are expected to be raised to 40 validators
- Cohort 2 was onboarded, key limits are raised to 5 validators
Testnet #4 | Status: In progress ▶️
- Testnet #4 started with 25 clusters, 180+ participants
Community Staking Module
Testnet
It’s been 1 month since the first operator joined the Lido Community Staking Module (CSM) on testnet!

Path to mainnet
- All CSM test scenarios scheduled for the testnet were checked
- Two audits are in progress with no High or Critical findings so far
- Sept 30, 2024 will be the date of Performance Assessment to determine mainnet EA eligibility. Two parameters will be assessed - Performance, and Participation time. Watch the Dmitry’s presentation at NOCC #20 for more details.
- Gnosis solo-stakers will be used to form Early Adoption List for the mainnet
