Key highlights were developments made across the following:

  • Validator Set decentralisation
  • Improved geographical Validator Set distribution
  • Validator Set Infrastructure improvements
  • First permissionless module launch

Community Lifeguard Initiative

Q2 report

The Community Lifeguards Initiative successfully transitioned from a pilot to an established sub-committee under the Lido DAO, with significant growth in community engagement, particularly in Lido Community Stakers, which saw an 80% increase in members. In Q2, the CLI supported various activities including Simple DVT trials, and the launch of the Community Staking Module on testnet, while also providing grants to support community staking projects and resources.

Read the full report on Q2 results here.

Community Stakers roundtables

Lido Community Lifeguards started hosting bi-weekly roundtables to regularly discuss the recent updates around Lido community staking and broader solo-staking topics. Follow announcements on Lido Discord to join the next one!

Rated Labs Replacement in the Oracle Set

After being a member of the Lido Oracle set for more than a year, Rated Network decided to step down from the Oracle set, with the transition expected to occur in Q3 2024. A DAO decision on either to rotate the Oracle member or remove it and change the quorum will be made in August via DAO vote.
