Evolution of CSM: CSM v2 staking rewards structure
A document describing contributor suggestions for the staking rewards structure for CSM v2 has been published. It outlines the following rewards structure for different Node Operator types:
- For Identified Community Stakers in CSM v2, it is proposed to maintain the current reward share (6% of staking rewards) for the first 16 validators (21 ETH worth of bond), and 3.5% for validators thereafter, while keeping bond values equal to what they are in CSM v1
- For permissionless operators in CSM v2, it is proposed to set the reward share to 3.5% while similarly keeping bond requirements unchanged
CSM parameters adjustment
The snapshot on increasing the CSM stake share limit and decreasing the key removal charge has passed! It means that:
- the CSM stake share limit will be increased from 2% to 3% in case:
- SimpleDVT module has all of the depositable validators deposited to;
- Curated Node Operator Pier Two (id #36) gets at least a minimum viable number of active validators (1000) to support business continuity (after the key rotation, they are sitting at zero active keys following the Snapshot vote on Nov 2024).
- the
keyRemovalCharge
parameter value will be changed in one of the next on-chain votes from 0.05 ETH to 0.02 ETH per key
UI Improvements
- New Monitoring Tab
- Enhanced View Keys Tab
- ENS addresses support
CSM Node Operators can now find a handy Attestation Rate metric for their Node Operators powered by the EthSeer Explorer! This metric shows the performance within the current CSM Oracle reporting frame, helping Nope Operators gauge whether their operator is on track to be above the performance threshold by the end of the frame.
Each key now comes with two direct links — one to beaconcha.in and one to EthSeer — so you can choose your favorite way to explore data.

Distributed Validator Vault
- The DVV now shows the rewards rates from SSV and Obol’s incentive programs, providing greater transparency for users. The first batch of SSV rewards are now claimable: https://www.ssvrewards.com/

Lido V3 Testnet Launch
Lido stVaults are modular primitives allowing stakers, node operators & protocols to tailormake staking solutions to fit their needs.
Customize fee structures, validation setups, optimize risk/reward structures, and more – all while maintaining the benefits of stETH.

Introducing the APM framework
Ethereum’s block proposal landscape is evolving, and the Lido protocol must adapt while upholding its high standards of security and decentralization. APMs provide a structured way to assess and integrate new proposer-side mechanisms responsibly, ensuring they align with the interests of Node Operators, stakers, and the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
Lido contributors published a research forum post that outlines the considerations on how the Lido DAO can reason about integrating new proposer-side infrastructure solutions.
Pectra hardfork
The vote that proposes Lido protocol upgrade to ensure continued compatibility with Ethereum’s upcoming Pectra hardfork has passed! This vote was a necessary step to ensure continued compatibility with Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade.
